Register Reconciling Troubled Marriages-Certification Training
Our intent is that the couples who participate will walk away with the following: 1. An understanding of the layers of ministry of reconciliation for marriages in crisis (and its Biblical foundation) 2. An action plan to put together a “first response team” at their church/community (dealing effectively with the first phases of supporting marriages in crisis). This will include training in the Marriage 911 curriculum from Joe and Michelle Williams 3. Tangible and hands-on tools to use with couples in crisis (how to walk through the process of reconciliation) We will utilize our Marriage on the Mend book and workbook for this section of the training. 4. Important issues to consider in ministering to individuals who are separated. 5. Information on AFFORDABLE resources and support for individuals who are separated and couples who are in crisis (especially due to today’s economy). 6. Informal Q and A with the trainers (we will be available to hammer out the tough issues (infidelity recovery, addiction, etc. facing many of today’s churches/communities in dealing with this topic)
